JAISON (Chase the Sun, AI-Created)

Overview and Purpose

JAISON is an intelligent solar panel tracking system designed to orient a solar panel to capture maximum energy autonomously. It leverages an Arduino-based platform, IoT connectivity, and real-time data (such as sun position, weather, and location) to optimize the panel's angle continuously. The system operates in different modes (Automatic, Manual, Storm, and Emergency) and handles day/night transitions and various hemispheres without additional configuration. The system only requires location coordinates and local time as input parameters to calculate sun positions and determine optimal panel orientation.

Automatic Mode

The solar panel is currently operating in Automatic Mode. In this mode, the system continuously tracks the sun's position and automatically adjusts the panel orientation for optimal energy capture. The visualization shows real-time sun position (yellow sphere), current panel tilt and orientation, automatic adjustments as the sun moves across the sky, and day/night transitions with ambient lighting changes.
